Your audience is already in the flow of events sparking on social media. Sharing and engaging current trends and issues is a great way to say: “We are here, we think your thoughts matter.”
Although, keep in mind that the content you are responding to isn’t offensive in any way, as it may wreck your reputation.
Doing this correctly will show your customers that you value social happenings besides your business. This will generally help you increase admiration of your followers.
2. Have a content strategy beyond your brand
Sure it’s important to let people know what your brand is about and what your message is, but creating content that is informational and fun generates following.
Let people know that you offer a lot more than just your self image.
Everybody loves a good story, that’s why you should create a good one to share with your followers. Create posts that talk about your niche, create fun engagement boosters, give out free tips and more.

Your followers love being engaged as well. They have their own thoughts, beliefs, interests, questions, etc.
You should start popping in the comment section more frequently and quickly respond to queries in your inbox. This will show your followers that you are present and they can always count on you.
Set a standard to yourself and/or your team and make it an important daily task.
